As an auction all sales are final, although we do offer, in compliance with distance trading standards, a seven-day returns policy. A refund of the purchase price only net of postage costs will be made for anyone returning items. No reutrns will be accepted without prior approval and agreement. Uk buyers may apy by paypal cheque, cash on collection or postal order.
Paypal in pounds sterling is my preferred method of payment. Us dollars at the rate of $2.00 = £1.00 or euros at the rate of e1.75 to the £1.00 are also accepted. Us postal orders and us dollar cheques are not accepted as they are difficult to negotiate. The successful high bidder will be notified of payment details by e-mail, typically within 24 hours after auction closing. Payment should be received within ten working days from the close of auction. Items will be shipped within three business days of certified funds. The bueyr pays for shipping and packing.
I post all uk items weighing up to 2kg via either royal mail special delivery (insurance available up to £2500) or royal mail recorded delivery (insured for up to £36). Uk parcels over 2 kg with royal mail parcel sevrice (insurance for loss available only). Overseas pu to 2 kg is via international air mail which is insured for up to £36 (or up to £500 for £5.70 extra). Overseas weighing 2 kg or more is via parcel force worldwide with insurance available for loss only. I can ont accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in the post but so far almost nothing has ever been broken or lost any responsibility would lie with the courier and i would of course assist in any claim.
